Panama takes one more step towards soccer dream

Panama’s  soccer dream of going to it’s first World Cup  inched forward on Tuesday night, June 12, with a 1-0 victory over Cuba at the Rommel Fernandez stadium.

The win, before over 20,000 cheering fans, follows  their  2-0 victory over Honduras on Friday June 8. The teams are in Group C with Canada.

The World Cup will be played in Brazil in 2014.
